Tish N. Weikel, NCC LPC has been practicing in the field of counseling for over ten years. Tish focuses on counseling individuals, couples, and families across the lifespan. Areas of focus include but are not limited to addictions, trauma informed care, eating disorders, dialectical behavioral therapy, and individuals working to overcome serious mental health challenges. Tish is currently pursuing her Doctoral degree in Counseling and Supervision from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania. In addition, Tish has a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Shippensburg University. Tish maintains an active member of the American Counseling Association and the National Board of Certified Counselors. She also certified as a trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapist for youth and adolescents. Tish is passionate about empowering clients give their narrative a voice and live a happy healthy life defined by each individual. She believes that this can be done by meeting individuals where they are at and using various therapy techniques combined with holistic practices. Starting the counseling journey can often take a leap of faith and courage, in the end the path we take we find more meaning the journey rather than the destination. Tish takes a variety of insurances, as well as a sliding fee scale.
